Made to Measure - TREADLIE Handmade Bike ShowPresented by TREADLIE Magazine.
Craftsmanship and design are combined in an exhibition of especially commissioned custom-built bicycles from around the country.
The final selection of bikes will be based on their aesthetics, artistry and creativity. Accompanying each exhibit will be stories about the bikes and their builders.
The bicycle presents the ultimate example of design in motion. For over 200 years people have engaged in the art of bicycle design. From high speed, lightweight road bikes to city cruisers, bike design is broad, engaging and ever-evolving.
Our bike builders will be both professionals and passionate amateurs, their bikes a translation of a simple idea. Expect clever mechanisms and exquisite detail, elegant and eclectic designs, conventional and unusual materials.
